AC Winding Department
The AC Winding Department is responsible to rewind electrical motors using
only class H insulation material. The winding department utilizes a
Samatic-winding machine for efficiently manufacturing coils. The winding
data is verified with the use of EASA Motor Winding Design Program prior to
winding coils. The AC winding supervisor, who along with the winding
technician signs off all-winding data and test results, verifies all
winding data and layouts.

Samatic Winding Machine
Rewinding ENERGY EFFICIENT (premium) MOTORS and still MAINTAINING motor
efficiency is easy with SAMATIC. In fact, there is NO ALTERNATIVE TO
SAMATIC! Here is why: Energy efficient motor design requires a large
number of turns per coil slot (high FILL RATIO). These motors are mostly
concentric wound. SAMATIC, with its special layering and tensioning
features and its special Adjustable Concentric Heads, is the perfect tool
to achieve the highest SLOT DENSITY/FILL RATIO, in any coil shape, and
particularly in the concentric winding method.

Epoxylite Cutoff Saw
The carbide tipped cutoff saw blade turns at 7000 rpm and removes one end of
the winding in a stator so that once the burn-off process is completed,
the windings can be removed from the stator core easily.

2000 HP stator
Wound with high density untreated VPI form coils designed for 4160 V usage.
These coils are manufactured by Kencoil, which has been proven to
exceed industry standards by far.
