WHO WE ARE

Tram Electric was founded in 1981 by U.S. Air Force Veteran David L. Zaccaria.

We provide a wide range of electrical and mechanical remanufacturing capabilities and electrical apparatus repair services. The company has expertise in remanufacturing and repairing generators, pumps, voltage regulators, transformers, motors of all types, control panels, switch gear and phase converters. The company's state-of-the-art 51,000-square-foot facility features color photographic documentation repair reports, computerized coil manufacturing, vacuum pressure impregnations of epoxy systems, surge comparison equipment computerized dynamic balancing, dynamometer load test equipment and burn-off and baking equipment. The facility also contains a full compliment machine shop and full compliment electronics shop. The company also offers 24-hour emergency repair service. Tram Electric maintains its corporate headquarters and production facilities in Price, Utah.

We are SKF Certified, a perennial top participant in the Green Motors Practices Group, and we're also one of eleven Siemens Large Motor Certified Service Partners in the country.
