Essential Functions: 

  1. Solve customer problems through the sale and repair of electrical equipment (i.e. pumps, motors, transformers, power centers, etc.)

  2. Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

  3. Promote a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, materials, and events.

  4. Work with management on sales forecasting activities and performance goals.

  5. Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.

  6. Meet with key clients, maintain relationships and close business deals.

  7. Work with management on product research and development.

  8. Coordinate with customers and Tram in-house operations to define project scope and delivery.

  9. Manage a strong existing sales territory.

  10. Prospect potential and develop new customer relationships.

  11. Work with a team and as an individual to make our customer the hero.

Work Environment:


This is a full-time salary exempt position, which operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.  This position also operates across an array of industrial environments, where PPE and situational awareness are paramount to personal safety.  Must have ability to lift and safely carry 50 pounds.  Typical hours are Monday through Friday 7:30am – 5pm.

Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to safely operate automobiles is required.  Travel is primarily local, although periodic out-of-the-area and overnight travel is required.   

 

Required Experience:

  1. Two (2) years of sales & marketing experience required.

  2. Industrial sales experience is strongly encouraged.

  3. Being able to golf is a bonus, but most of us aren’t that good.
