WELDER FABRICATOR

 

Fabricate and assemble equipment through the use of welding, cutting & shearing, air arc, shaping, measuring & fitting.

 

Repair and produce (from raw material) metal products according to customer or employer specifications.

 

Perform MIG, TIG, SMAW and other welding practices to repair and maintain pumps, motors, and other industrial electrical equipment.

 

Follow verbal instruction as well as interpret diagrams, sketches and blueprints to determine operations, required materials and timeframes for projects.

 

Set up, operate and maintain welding equipment. Understand and implement personal and company safety.

 

Communication skills are essential to work with team members and converse with customers regularly. Must enjoy an environment that is dynamic and team oriented, promotes adhering to company best practices, while enabling the opportunity for growth and improvement.

MANUAL MACHINIST

Experienced machinists preferred. 

 

Applicant must be able to:

 

*operate hand tools, lathes and mills to manufacture and repair mechanical assemblies. 

 

*Use measuring devices and techniques correctly to assure exact sizing and proper tolerance on critical fits. 

 

*Perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring and conventional milling & lathe work. 

 

*Have a strong mechanical aptitude, and be a team player with a great attitude. 

 

*Must enjoy working with others, be a team player, be willing to serve co-workers of all positions and personalities. 

 

*Must have the ability to work safely in machine shop environments.

ELECTRIC MOTOR TECHNICIAN

 

Tram Electric is searching for an electric motor technician. This is a full-time position in an industrial fabrication environment, candidates must be able to handle many tasks in a short amount of time, and be able to adjust their schedule throughout the day as assigned.

 

Transportation to and from work is required. Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as called upon. Electrical experience is an advantage.

 

Responsibilities include:

* Assemble and disassemble electrical pumps and motors.

* Mechanic skills.

* Operate cranes and forklifts.

* Parts cleaning, painting and preparation.

* Use of basic hand tools, as well as specialty tools.

* High attention to detail, cleanliness and organization.

* A team player with a great attitude is a must.

* Routine department inspections.

* Personal safety, learning, and training.

* Routinely lift over 50 pounds.

* Occasional call-outs.
